West Lodge is a large Victorian house set in an enclosed gated garden, with a very private, yet light airy and contemporary feel, ideal for business or pleasure.

West lodge is an intimate, individual and friendly family run business, offering luxury 4 Star facilities: whether it’s a night’s accommodation or a Holliday; running a workshop or conducting one-2-one interviews, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs; with ample secure parking and complementary WI-FI throughout the house and gardens.

We are conveniently situated in the middle of Drayton, a charming village just 4 miles to the NW of Norwich city centre and well situated for access to the Airport, North Norfolk Coast and Norfolk Broads with the N1 cycle route just on the door step.

Built in 1890 ‘West Lodge’ retains much of its original charm and character and in recent years has been extensively and sympathetically refurbished in a more contemporary style.

The Gardens have been designed by the ‘Real Garden Company’ using exotic and unusual planting, with elements of ‘Feng-Shui’ evident throughout, a beautiful place to sit, relax and just be.

We endeavour to meld the warmth of the 19c with the style and convenience of the 21c, presented with a welcoming, professional and some may say; a little quirky atmosphere.
